Dolphin, AdsPower, GoLogin and Octo: How They Differ
How the well-known antidetect browsers actually differ in design rather than marketing: profile storage, automation, team features, and how to choose between them yourself.

These names dominate the searches, and almost all the results are affiliate roundups with paid ordering. There is no ranking and no pricing here: tariffs and versions change, criteria do not.
What they have in common
The core function is identical: isolated profiles with a substitutable fingerprint. They all create profiles, assign proxies to them, alter environment characteristics and keep sessions separate.
The practical consequence: choosing on the core function is pointless. The differences lie in details, and they matter exactly as much as they relate to your task.
What genuinely differs
Profile storage. Local or cloud. Cloud is convenient for a team and means sessions live with the service. That is a trust and confidentiality question, and it outweighs most of the differences people debate.
Team features. Access control, handing profiles between staff, an action log. Meaningless for one person, decisive for an agency.
Automation. An API for launching profiles programmatically and compatibility with browser automation tooling. If you have scripts or plan them, check this first - see automation.
Mobile profiles. The quality of mobile environment emulation varies noticeably - see mobile profiles.
Proxy handling. Bulk address assignment, checking from the interface, support for the protocols you need.
Resource use. With dozens of profiles running, the difference between tools becomes a difference in hardware requirements.
Fingerprint coherence. The main technical criterion and the hardest to judge from outside: what matters is not the count of substituted parameters but whether their combination occurs among real users - see how fingerprinting works.
Choosing for yourself
An order that answers the question better than any review:
- Write down your requirements before looking at tools: how many profiles, is there a team, is automation needed, are mobile profiles needed, is cloud storage acceptable.
- Filter on the mandatory items. That usually leaves two or three candidates rather than ten.
- Test each on your own platform - see the hour-long test.
- Leave the profiles for a few days and see whether the accounts survive. That is the only check that really answers the question.
- Test profile migration before you have a hundred of them.
Step five deserves attention: each tool has its own storage format, and while fingerprint settings usually transfer, sessions do not always. Establishing that with three profiles is cheap; with a hundred it is not.
What should not influence the choice
- Position in roundups. It is paid.
- The length of the substituted-parameter list. Coherence is what matters.
- Promises of complete anonymity. The fingerprint is one signal among several, and data and behaviour link accounts more reliably - see why accounts get banned.
- Price without testing. A cheap tool your accounts do not survive costs more.

FAQ
Which of these is best?
There is no single answer: they are close on the core function and differ in details that matter to specific tasks. What decides is the fit with your requirements - team features, automation, mobile profiles, how profiles are stored - not general quality.
Why are there no prices or a ranking here?
Because pricing changes often, and ranked roundups in this niche are almost entirely affiliate content ordered by commission. Comparison criteria age more slowly, and applying them to current versions gives a more honest answer than somebody else list.
Can profiles be migrated between tools?
Partly. Fingerprint settings usually transfer; sessions do not always, because each tool has its own storage format. Establish this before you accumulate a hundred profiles, since manual migration at that point costs more than the original tool inconvenience.
