Why Accounts Still Get Banned With an Antidetect Browser
Why bans happen despite a working antidetect setup: profile inconsistency, behavioural signals, links between accounts, IP and payment reputation, and mistakes in warm-up and pacing.

A recurring question: “I set up antidetect by the book and accounts still die.” The answer is almost always that antidetect covers one of five signal groups, while the decision is made on the whole set.
Five groups of signals
- Technical - the device fingerprint. This is what antidetect covers.
- Network - the IP, its type and reputation.
- Behavioural - how exactly you act.
- Links - what this account shares with others.
- Content - what the account does and how other users react.
Antidetect handles the first and helps with the second. The remaining three are entirely on you.
Profile inconsistency
The most common technical cause, and it is not about substitution quality but about contradictions inside the profile.
Typical mismatches:
- Timezone does not match the IP’s country.
- System language does not fit the region.
- The user agent claims a mobile device while resolution and input method are desktop.
- The font set is impossible for the declared OS.
- The GPU never shipped alongside that system.
None of these occur on real users. Testing for them is cheap and automated.
Behaviour
The most underrated group - and usually the real cause when the technical side is clean.
What gives a machine away:
- Identical intervals. People pause unevenly: they think, get distracted, re-read.
- Instant input. Text that appears all at once is a paste, not typing. Humans make typos and corrections.
- No wasted movement. A live user scrolls past things, opens the wrong item, goes back.
- Perfect precision. A cursor landing dead centre on every button along a straight path.
- Round-the-clock activity. An account with no sleep and no weekends.
Under automation this becomes the main risk: the fingerprint is flawless while the rhythm announces a script within a minute.
Links between accounts
Platforms are good at finding what accounts share. One intersection is enough:
- A shared IP - the most direct indicator.
- One recovery email or phone across several accounts.
- Shared payment details - a card links accounts more reliably than anything else.
- Mutual actions - accounts following or actively engaging with each other.
- Identical content - the same text and images.
- Synchronicity - ten accounts registered back to back in ten minutes.
One payment card attached to twenty accounts undoes all the fingerprint separation work.
IP reputation
Proxies do not arrive sterile. A residential address may have been used before you, and the platform remembers what was done from it.
Two habits follow: check the address before the first login, and do not change the IP under a working account without cause. A country change on an account that logged in from one city for a year is a conspicuous event.
Warm-up
A new account that goes straight to its target action in the first minute is the most recognisable pattern in existence. Real people do not behave that way: they register, look around, leave, and come back later.
Warm-up is a period of ordinary activity before the work starts. It guarantees nothing but removes the most obvious signal. Practical guidance: do not rush on day one, spread activity across several days, start small, and do not jump to full load immediately.
What to do when bans happen
Diagnose by frequency, not by incident. One ban is noise; a pattern of bans is a signal.
- Find the common factor. Were all the banned accounts on one subnet? Registered on the same day? Sharing an email? There is nearly always something.
- Identify which step loses them. A ban at registration, after the first action, and a week later are three different problems: the first is usually profile and IP, the second behaviour, the third content and links.
- Change one thing at a time. Swap the proxy, the warm-up and the scenario at once and you will never know which helped.
- Measure survival rate. Without numbers you cannot separate a real regression from ordinary variance - and you will fix what is not broken.
FAQ
Why was my account banned if the antidetect setup is correct?
Because the fingerprint is only one signal. Platforms also weigh behaviour, action speed, account history, IP reputation, payment details and links to other accounts. A perfect fingerprint paired with a mechanical rhythm does not save you.
What is account warm-up and is it mandatory?
It is a period where a new account behaves like an ordinary user without touching the target action: signs in, browses, follows something, returns the next day. It is not formally required, but a new account that performs its target action in the first minute is the most recognisable pattern there is.
